Research Projects

Research projects for the MWRPP are developed collaboratively, with staff from both parties meeting at an annual Research Planning Workshop, which has the dual purpose of: 1) updating Melbourne Water on research progress, and 2) seeking Melbourne Water input on the proposed future research direction. The workshop is the first step towards developing the Partnership’s research projects for each year.

Following the workshop, feedback from the workshop participants is collated, circulated to attendees to confirm its accuracy and then provided to the researchers to assist in drafting research proposals. Draft research projects are then submitted to the Research Management Committee for assessment and endorsement.
